The Alphabet A to Z Color By Code Worksheets Resource Lesson Plan Ideas:
Monday - Project page 1 to introduce Color By Code to your class with a step by step direct teacher-led lesson on the overhead document camera. I like to review each color and what word they are assigned to, so for example, "apple = red" is colored with a red crayon. Once your students know your procedures, the remaining pages can be used by your students independently. An alternative, based on the ability level of your class, is that this teacher-led lesson can also be completed during your reading small group lesson on Monday.
Tuesday - Friday - continue to use a page a day, as seatwork, morning work, literacy center work. The possibilities are endless!
For The Next Four Weeks on Monday - Friday - If you use a page a day, you will have Twenty-Six Days of an alphabet review, remediation, or just plain alphabet fun! Enjoy!
