Students with Good Report Cards Can Get These 14 Rewards & Freebies

Students can get rewards in exchange for good grades on a report card!

Did your child recently receive good grades on their report card? Not only do they deserve a big pat on the back, but they can also score some sweet rewards and other perks for their good grades! Below, we’re listing the restaurants and other companies that offer awesome discounts and free rewards for students.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The following promotions vary by location, so be sure to verify that your locat restaurant or business is participating before loading the kids in the car to claim their good-grade rewards!

1. Score a FREE kid’s meal at Applebee’s.

Students (12 & under) who excel in academics (or other areas determined by their teachers) are eligible to receive an “A” is for Applebee’s award card which can be redeemed for a FREE meal from the Applebee’s Kid’s Menu. The promotional card must be completely filled out by the teacher.

Applebee’s provides teachers with reward cards ad leaves distribution up to each teacher. Teachers may award cards even if the school does not use a grading system, or they can even recognize students for accomplishments in non-academic areas.

The only way to earn an A is for Applebee’s award card is through a teacher, so you can let your child’s teacher know about this program with this link.

2. Some banks pay cash for good report cards. 

Many financial institutions offer monetary rewards (some up to $10 per report card!) or special discounts for good grades. First Southern National Bank is just one example.

Check with your local banks, credit unions, and insurance companies to see if they offer something similar. You can typically learn more by visiting your bank or insurance company’s website or chatting with an employee.

3. Your student may be eligible for the Discover Good Grades rewards program.

Discover offers college undergrad and graduate students with a minimum 3.0 GPA a one-time cash reward on each new Discover student loan.

4. Good grades may get you a free order of chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-A.

Some Chick-fil-A restaurants reward good grades (As and Bs) with a free 8-piece order of chicken nuggets. This practice varies by location, so check in with your local restaurant to see if they’re participating.

5. Many car insurance companies offer discounts for good grades.

If you have a young driver in your family, then you know that adding them to your auto insurance policy can be pricy. In fact, the average cost is $1,830 a year!

Thankfully, many insurance companies offer good student discounts for high school and college students to achieve academic success. The qualifications and savings vary by insurance company, but the average discount is about 4%.

6. Some Burger King restaurants reward good grades with free food!

Students may be able to score a free hamburger or ice cream cone for scoring 100% on a test. This offer is limited to one free hamburger per week per child – including homeschooling families! Contact your local restaurant to verify participation.

7. Chuck E. Cheese gives free tokens for just about anything.

At Chuck E. Cheese, you can choose from a wide variety of awards so every student can celebrate their accomplishments. They offer rewards like the Super Student Award, the Graduation Certificate, and even a special reward for doing homework!

To claim each reward, just print one of the free certificates and fill it out at home. Once your kiddo has reached their goal, you can turn the certificate in to receive 10 free tokens to play games at Chuck E. Cheese. Note that there is a limit of one certificate per child per day.

8. Enjoy an entire meal on the house at Jason’s Deli.

Jason’s Deli rewards students ages 1-12 for good grades, good efforts, or good deeds through its Kid Cash program. Kid Cash is valid only at participating Jason’s Deli restaurants and is good for dine-in meals only. Just complete this form and your local sales manager will contact you within 5-7 days.

9. Good students can earn a yummy Krispy Kreme report card reward!

At participating Krispy Kreme locations, students may be able to get up to six free original glazed doughnuts or a 3-pack of their choice of donuts for good grades on their report card! Be sure to contact your local doughnut shop to verify participation.

10. Get a free McDonald’s Happy Meal or Value Meal for an outstanding report card. 

If your kindergarten-5th grade student has a straight-A report card, they may be able to receive a free Happy Meal for their good grades! Students in 6th-12th grades may get a free Value Meal when they bring in their report cards. This promotion might vary by location, so be sure to call your local restaurant before heading out.

11. Good students get a FREE Peter Piper Pizza.

Students with a Peter Piper Pizza location nearby may be able to get a free 7″ one-topping pizza for their good report cards. Teachers distribute the coupons directly to qualifying students.

12. Sonic Drive-In may offer free menu items for honor roll or perfect attendance. 

Participating Sonic Drive-Ins may offer Positive Behavior Support certificates for honor roll, perfect attendance, and birthdays. Each certificate contains a coupon for a free menu item at Sonic. This good-grade freebie is only available through schools, church organizations, programs, and clubs.

13. Students with A’s and B’s get treated at Wendy’s.

Participating Wendy’s locations may offer students a free treat when they show the cashier a report card with As and Bs. Be sure to contact your local restaurant to verify participation before making a special trip for your freebie.

14. Marco’s Pizza treats A students (even at college) to a free pizza.
