Bagel Spice
If I was going to make two-ingredient bagels, then I needed a spice to go on the bagels. I googled bagel spice ingredients and came up with this because I knew I had most of these spices in my cabinet.
Original Recipe
Better Than Everything Bagel Spice by Oaktown Spice Shop
INGREDIENTS
- sea salt
- black pepper
- garlic
- onion
- rosemary
- smoked sea salt
- brown mustard seed
- dill seed
- fennel seed
How I deviated from the original recipe?
I used the spices I had in my spice cabinet: sea salt, black pepper, chives, rosemary, black mustard seed, and fennel seed.
Directions:
- Dump a little of each spice into the mortar and pestle and grind.
